Areas of activity of the Polish Society for Behavioral Psychology

  • Scientific activity. Since 2005 each consecutive year PTPB organizes a scientific symposium commemorating B. F. Skinner's birthday, as a tribute to his professional achievements. The aim of the symposia is to present theoretical issues, research results, professional experiences, and the applications of behavioral psychology. The Scientific Symposia of PTPB provide an opportunity for most prominent representatives of behavioral psychology in Poland to meet, creating a great forum for them to exchange ideas and integrate.

Maultsby (Dominik Księski's Wulkan Publishing House, Żnin 2008). PTPB is also the patron of the book „Contemporary Behavioral Psychology. Selected Topics", edited by Przemysław B±bel and Paweł Ostaszewski (Jagiellonian University Publishing House, Kraków 2008), and the book by Przemysław B±bel, Monika Suchowierska and Paweł Ostaszewski "Behavior Analysis from A to Z" (Gdańsk Psychological Publishing House, Gdańsk 2010).
  • Educational activity. PTPB organizes trainings and lectures. The workshops on Rational Bahavior Therapy seems to have gained the greatest popularity. It is organized periodically since 2005. PTPB has been involved in creating a set of requirements, which - if met - result in obtaining a certificate of a behavioral therapist.
